Day Three of the Franco-British Young Leaders Programme started with a tour of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre followed by a presentation from Chris Hirst, Global CEO of Havas Creative Group, about his new book on leadership, ‘No Bullsh*t Leadership’ which was featured in the June 2019 FT Books of the Summer.
In the afternoon Young Leaders and Local Leaders took part in a wide-ranging political discussion chaired by Tom Tugendhat MBE MP, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee in the House of Commons. He was joined by Young Leader politicians, Bim Afolami MP, Alexandre Holroyd and Wes Streeting MP.
The French Ambassador, Jean-Pierre Jouyet, hosted a Reception in the evening at his residence followed by the final dinner.
La troisième journée du séminaire résidentiel des Young Leaders franco-britannique débuta par une visite du Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre et fut suivie par une présentation par Chris Hirst, PDG mondial de Havas Creative Group, de son nouvel ouvrage : « No Bullsh * t Leadership » lequel fut sélectionné parmi les meilleurs livres de l’été 2019 par le Financial Times.
Dans l’après-midi, les Young Leaders et Local Leaders eurent l’opportunité de participer à une grande discussion politique animée par le député Tom Tugendhat, Président du Comité spécial des Affaires Etrangères au Parlement britannique. Le débat fut rejoint par nos Young Leaders politiciens français et britanniques : les députés Bim Afolami, Alexandre Holroyd et Wes Streeting.
La fin d’après-midi fut marquée par une réception organisée par l’Ambassadeur de France, Jean-Pierre Jouyet, à sa résidence laquelle fut suivie par un dîner, le dernier du séminaire.
