The Franco-British Council visited Airbus in Toulouse this week – an important Franco-British collaboration in aerospace. Our delegation included our Young and Local Leaders and trustees.
The delegation was welcomed by Julie Kitcher, EVP Communications and Corporate Affairs and Oriel Petry, SVP Public Affairs at Airbus UK, with thanks given by our UK Chair Lord Peter Ricketts.
Catherine Jestin, Executive Vice President Digital and Information Management at Airbus discussed the theme of Technologies and Leadership with the Young and Local Leaders.
Our Young and Local Leaders held a session on leadership with John Harrison, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, and on geopolitics and business with Oriel Petry, SVP Public Affairs at Airbus UK.
Our Young and Local Leaders visited the Aeroscopia Museum and had the privilege to look inside Concorde – itself a big Franco-British aeronautical project.
The Young and Local Leaders were welcomed by the Deputy Mayor Jean-Claude Dardelet at the Capitole in Toulouse with a visit to the rooms including the famous salle des Illustres.

Nos Young et Local Leaders ont visité le Musée aeroscopia et ont eu le privilège de rentrer dans le Concorde – le plus grand project aéronautique franco- britannique.
Les Young et Local Leaders ont été accueillis par l’Adjoint au maire, Jean-Claude Dardelet au Capitole et ont visité ses salons dont la célèbre salle des Illustres.
