On the second day of the Franco-British Young and Local Leaders seminar, the group took part in a panel discussion on current UK and French political issues with journalists at the Institut français.
Gideon Rachman from The Financial Times, John Peet from The Economist, Amandine Alexandre from Le Fiagaro and Eric Albert from Le Monde took part.
The panel was moderated by Anissia Morel, Director of the Institut français and Cultural Counsellor of the French Embassy.
The Young and Local Leaders attended the French National Day celebrations and met with Hélène Duchêne, French Ambassador to the United Kingdom, and Stephen Doughty MP, the British Minister for Europe.
Afterwards the Young and Local Leaders visited The GenDen at London School of Economics which supports students and alumni to develop entrepreneurial skills as they build businesses and innovate in the UK and around the world.
Le deuxième jour du séminaire, les Young et Local Leaders ont participé à une table ronde sur les questions politiques actuelles au Royaume-Uni et en France par un panel de journalistes : Gideon Rachman du Financial Times, John Peet de The Economist, Amandine Alexandre du Fiagaro et Eric Albert du Monde. Le panel était animé par Anissia Morel, Directrice de l’Institut français et Conseillère culturelle à l’Ambassade de France.
Ils ont également été invités aux célébrations de la Fête nationale française à la residence de France et ont eu le privilège de rencontrer Hélène Duchêne, ambassadrice de France au Royaume-Uni, et Stephen Doughty MP, le nouveau ministre britannique de l’Europe.
La journée s’est suivie par la visite du GenDen à la London School of Economics. Le GenDen est destiné à aider les étudiants et anciens élèves à développer leurs compétences entrepreneuriales afin de créer leurs entreprises et innover au Royaume-Uni et dans le monde.
