On the third day of the seminar, the Young and Local Leaders visited the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
The Young and Local Leaders were briefed on the UK-France defence relationship by Sam Bardwell, Deputy Head Europe at UK Ministry of Defence and Col Xavier Rival, Air and Space Attaché, French Embassy in London.
Afterwards they visited the National Army to find out more about the British Army.
The Young and Local Leaders finished their day with a cruise along the River Thames.
Le troisème jour du séminaire, les Young et Local Leaders ont été reçus au Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office pour une visite du batiment. Ils ont également l’opportunité de rencontrer Sam Bardwell, Directeur Adjoint de l’Europe au ministère de la Défense britannique et Col Xavier Rival, Attaché aérien et spatial à l’Ambassade de France à Londres, lesquels ont echange leurs points de vue sur la relation UK-France Défense.
Ils ont poursuivi leur journée avec la visite du National Army Museum pour découvrir l’histoire de l’armée britannique et ont terminé leur journée par une croisière-repas à bord de The Emerald sur la Tamise.
