On day one, Our Franco-British Young and Local Leaders visited the Pitlochry hydro Dam in Perth, operated by SSE who kindly sponsored this visit.
The Franco-British Council also organised a roundtable discussion on energy collaboration between UK/Scotland and France with:
- Finlay McCutcheon, Director of Onshore at SSE Renewables
- Leader Julia Cantel, Franco-British Young, Project manager at EDF and laureate of the French Ministry of Industry’s Woman Engineer of France 2023 Prize
- Professor Luca Franza, Head of European Affairs at Edison, and a Visiting Professor in the Energy Master of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) – SciencesPo and at the College of Europe in Natolin (Warsaw).
Le premier jour, nos Franco-British Young et Local Leaders ont été accueillis pour une visite du site naturel protégé de la centrale hydroélectrique du barrage de Pitlochry opéré par SSE lesquels ont généreusement sponsorisé cette visite.
Une table ronde fut organisee par le Conseil sur la collaboration énergétique entre le Royaume-Uni, l’Écosse et la France laquelle fut animee par :
- Finlay McCutcheon, Directeur de l’Onshore chez SSE Renewables
- Julia Cantel, Young Leader franco-britannique, Chef de projet chez EDF et lauréate du Prix Femme ingénieur de France 2023 par le ministère de l’Industrie
- Professeur Luca Franza, Responsable des affaires européennes chez Edison et professeur invité au Master Energie de l’École des Affaires Internationales de Paris (PSIA) – SciencesPo et au Collège Europe de Natolin (Varsovie).
