As part of the first Franco-British Young Leaders programme, the Franco-British Council and its partners pilots an initiative dedicated to supporting social mobility for young people in both countries.
The Local Leaders initiative brings talented individuals aged 20-30 from disadvantaged backgrounds who have a success story to share, want to extend their professional network and develop their potential in an international context.
The first edition is launched this June in the UK with an international networking day. The Local Leaders will share a day of the Young Leaders’ programme, learning about the importance of cultural intelligence and participating to a social innovation challenge.
The programme was launched in Paris in March 2017 in the presence of HRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
