The Franco-British Council is a unique platform for the exchange of ideas and information between Britain and France.

Founded in 1972, the Franco-British Council brings together leading representatives from the world of culture, politics, defence, science, education and business. The Council has a bilateral governance; it receives funding from the British and French governments, and generous donors and corporate sponsors.

The British Section is chaired by Baroness Blackstone, and the French Section by Professeur Christian de Boissieu. The Director of the British Section is Marine Shah.
